Affiliate Disclosure
How affiliate links work on Tech Between the Lines, and why a commission never decides what we recommend.
Tech Between the Lines is free to read. One of the ways we pay for that is through affiliate links.
What an affiliate link is
Some links to retailers on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same.
Who we work with
We participate in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates, Best Buy Creators, and brand programs run through Impact, CJ and Awin. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
What a commission never does
A commission never decides what we recommend, how we rate a product or whether we cover it. We recommend things we have used or can evaluate, and we will tell you when something isn't worth buying even when it has an affiliate program. Product boxes and buy links are labeled, and pages built around shopping, like our Gear Guide and Apple Deals Tracker, carry a disclosure at the top.
Our own products
Our printable guides are our own products, sold through Gumroad. When we mention them, we're promoting something we made.
