Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Here is how corrections and updates work on Tech Between the Lines.
Getting it right matters more to us than getting it first. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and tell you what changed.
What we correct
Any factual error: a wrong version number, setting name, price, date, specification or quote. If a mistake changes the meaning of an article, we correct it as soon as we confirm it.
How corrections appear
Corrections are noted in italics at the end of the article, with the date and what was changed, for example: Correction, Oct 12, 2026: An earlier version of this article gave the wrong build number for iOS 27.0.1.
Updates are different
Some articles, like our iOS 27 Problems and Fixes hub, the iOS Tracker and our buying guides, are kept current as things change. When we add new information that was not available before, we label it as an update rather than a correction.
Report an error
If you spot a mistake, email contact@techbetweenthelines.com with the article link and what you believe is wrong. We read every message.
